ALL PRISM Logistics Facilities Recognized as ‘High Achievement – Superior’ by AIB
We’re very pleased to share that all four of our Northern California warehousing facilities have been recognized by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) as Superior with scores of 970 for Livermore, CA, 960 for Hayward, CA and 940 for both Sacramento and Stockton, CA.
AIB Standards consist of five Categories for Inspection. Each Category is allocated 200 points for scoring purposes, for a total of 1,000 points. A passing score is 700 and above. Facilities scoring in the top 25% of all scores for their business category are awarded Recognition of High Achievement – Superior.
Congratulations to Prism Team Services for the SUPERIOR rating in all five categories:
- Operational Methods and Personnel Practices
- Maintenance for Food Safety
- Cleaning Practices
- Integrated Pest Management
- Adequacy of Prerequisite Programs and Food Safety Programs

Jere Van Puffelen Earns First-Ever Executive Warehouse Logistics Professional (EWLP) Certification from IWLA
IWLA, the resource for warehouse logistics, has awarded the Executive Warehouse Logistics Professional (EWLP) designation to Jere Van Puffelen, president of PRISM Logistics. Van Puffelen is the first person ever to achieve this status, the highest level in IWLA’s three-tier certification program for logistics leaders. He received formal recognition March 10 during the IWLA Convention & Expo in Savannah, Ga.
“It is difficult to put words to the dedication Jere has for the warehouse logistics industry and IWLA,”says IWLA President & CEO Steve DeHaan, CAE. “Time and again, he goes above and beyond to volunteer his time and knowledge to make our association and the industry stronger. He is a leader. He is a mentor. And he is an innovator.”
